Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels are formulated to help revive and condition the skin. This process can help to rejuvenate your skin to reveal a more youthful, softer and smoother look avoiding the side effects associated with invasive surgery.

Chemical peels are liquids, which are applied to the skin to remove any dead cells on the surface and stimulate fresh growth of the cells underneath.

There are 3 types of peels (a) superficial peels, (b) medium peels (c) deep peels. We recommend superficial and medium peels as they have less down time.

Dr Prem would assess your specific requirements before deciding on the appropriate treatment.

Most of the treatments do not require anaesthesia, though some may require a topical anaesthesia.

Chemical Peels are used to treat

- Acne

- Acne on the back

- Acne scarring

- Un-even skin pigmentation

- Melasma
